TST (That Summer Tape)

Using only equipment that would have been available to me in 1998
(a sampler, analog synth + FM synth + Virtual analog synth, FX Box, Drum Machine and TASCAM tape deck) I taught the boy how to make music the old school way. These were LIVE jam sessions recorded in one take. There was only post editing done to shorten some of the songs. This was the first time he had ever really used any of this production gear. It was 50-50 Sequencing, playing the machines, creating sounds and LIVE recording. He was proud of himself and We are very proud of this work as primitive as it may sound. This is the first of many. We had to start somewhere.

Recorded over the Summer of 2018. He had just turned 12.
